India too, understands that hydrogen is bound to be the fuel of the next generation, and plans to take full

  2. advantage of the fact. Tata Motors has already decided to roll out its fully hydrogen fuelled car fleet by 2025. The Indian government too, has been working on hydrogen applications as fuel, on hydrogen fuel cells with an express objective of lowering the fuel import bill and the running cost of vehicles. The best part about hydrogen is that it is the cleanest fuel available, with water vapour as the only emission, thus eliminating pollution altogether. The only problem is the costs of generating hydrogen, which are not exactly economical, to say the least. But, there is a solution. Hydrogen is generated on a mass-scale as it is, to be used in various industries like metallurgy, petrochemical, glass, and many more.

Manufacturers which produce hydrogen generators and hydrogen plants can help in manufacturing hydrogen in an even more economical way, as they stand to gain the most if hydrogen becomes a mainstream fuel. Hydrogen has a bright future ahead and India better wash its hands in the proverbial Ganga while it’s flowing, and it plans to. But one thing’s for sure, you can hope to see hydrogen fuel cells and hydrogen fuelled cars running on your streets within the next decade.
