  4. Goals • Develop a systematic and uniform way of transferring information for the purpose of accurately compiling statistics and supporting the rules passed by the Commission • Satisfy the requirement of the Compact enabling legislation to create an offender tracking system

  5. Goals, cont. • Improve accuracy of the data transferred between states. • Reduce the time required for communication between states. • Create a system that is capable of interfacing with existing case management application. • Provide a web-based application that can be accessed ICAOS member states. • Allow victims and other members of the public to be able to search the database of active offenders and view a portion of the information.

  6. What has been done? • JAD Session II • Four regional IT representative meetings • Harry Hageman conducted state assessment for readiness • Softscape conference calls • IT Committee conference calls • Weekly status meetings with Softscape

  7. What has been done? • Daily correspondence between National Office and Softscape • Articles written and published • Presentations to organizations and states • Transitioned from contracted Project Manager to staff member Sheila Perry • Hired Xavier Donnelly as Commission staff member
