If you have just moved in or getting ready to sell or want to give a your room a new look, Here are some tips that will help you out to do it in your way.

  3. GET SOME NEW FABRICS • The first thing you should change is fabrics. You can get some new stuff like curtains, pillow covers, some new rugs, etc. Replace the old curtains, pillow covers and rugs with the new ones. This will give a new look to your room at a very less expense. For your bedroom as well apply the same formula: Change the headboard, duvet cover, and get some new pillows for your bed.

  4. PUT SOME NEW COLOURS • The second thing you should take care of, is the room paint. It can be for a single room or wall that needs it. If you apply a new coat of paint to the walls it will change the complete look of the room. The selection of colour can be light and bright to dark as it depends completely on your mood.

  5. RE-ORGANIZE YOUR BOOKSHELF • Bookshelves are really beautiful things; it not only keeps your books in an organized way, but it also looks like a great focal piece in your room. Keep your books in a organised manner, you can organize according to colour coding or in stacks instead of side-by-side. Place some family photos, paintings or bright accent pieces.

  6. UPDATE YOUR WALL ART • It is a great way to update your wall it shows the family talent. You can frame your daughter's sketches from high school, your son's finger painting. Or get a blank canvas, paint it in a bright colour to hang in the living room. And the best part is that once you will purchase a frame, the art can be changed throughout the year at no cost.

  7. ADD A NEW ACCENT • Is your living room giving you a boring feel, or your bathroom is giving you the yawns? Add a colourful wallpaper and an accent wall! Buy a chandelier or paint stripes in your dining room and for your front hallway. Adding these things is fun to give some personality without changing the complete setup.
