About CHRLC • Central Highlands Regional Library Corporation provides library services to the City of Ballarat, Shire of Hepburn, Shire of Moorabool, Shire of Pyrenees, Ararat Rural City Council, Central Goldfields Shire and Southern Grampians Shire. • Branch libraries are located at Ararat, Avoca, Bacchus Marsh, Ballarat, Beaufort, Clunes, Creswick, Daylesford, Hamilton, Maryborough, Sebastopol and Wendouree. • Our mobile library provides services to areas without easy access to a branch library, and housebound services are provided for those who are unable to physically attend a library service point.

  3. So far this year. • Development of Intranet for CHRLC Staff. Features included: • Document Management • Discussion Forums • Plans to automate submission of branch statistics (enquiries and door counts). http://www.chrlc.vic.gov.au/intranet/

So far this year.. • Development an online reference tool for Library Staff and Patrons. • Existing resources are stored in a searchable database • Public can submit enquiries to system. • Enquiry staff can respond and track enquiries submitted plus add new resources into the system. • Link checking • Go live September Public Interface – http://www.chrlc.vic.gov.au/findit.php Staff Interface – http://www.chrlc.vic.gov.au/intranet/

So far this year… • Revamp of CHRLC website for members. • New design • More interactive features, discussion forum, Findit @ CHRLC, user polls. • Incorporation of google maps for branch locations. • Time savers - feature manager used for database of the month and book of week. • Go live September Example Public Interface – http://jed.cecc.com.au/clients/chrlc_new/
