  1. Inculcating Agility to an Organization in Complex Business World Organizations have a greater responsibility and higher demand from their consumers to be agile and nimble-footed. They must adapt to changing market conditions and client considerations – and it is this ability that separates the best from the rest. Especially in the information management space, being agile is an invaluable asset. Information management is a fluid and dynamic space, where agility and adaptive ability is vital. For organizations to be more agile in the complex world of information management they ought to be rooted in and committed to – innovation, transparency, creativity, diversity and collaboration. Innovation: Innovation is the bed of agility. Organizations that foster innovation tend to be at least 5 times more agile than the rest. Innovation breeds newer processes, improved technologies and better resource management techniques – all of which aid agility. Transparency: An agile organization has to be transparent. Opaqueness in structures and processes within an organization form a big impediment to the very spirit of agility. Transparent organizations have a 25 times higher chance of being more agile than those that are not! Creativity: Creativity allows organizations to be more agile as opposed to rigidity. Having structures that are too firm and personnel too inflexible hampers creativity in the organization. Agility is a byproduct of creative minds at work and organization that foster creativity foster agility too! Diversity: Agile organizations are known to be more diverse. Diversity helps the organization become more vibrant and creative. It brings about an ecosystem that is a melting

Collaboration: The spirit of collaboration makes employees engage in the organization and explore newer & better ways of completing tasks. The coming together of employees in such manner leads to process improvements – which is key to bringing about greater agility in the organization.
