  2. Avijit Ghosh’s Priorities and Visions • According to Avijit Ghosh Heavy Engineering Corporation, his top priority at HEC would be to help the company achieve the required growth. He felt that there was a need to stabilize the operations of HEC in the first place. He also mentioned that it would be his primary endeavour to ensure that HEC achieves the desired prosperity in all sectors that it operates. He also wanted to make HEC a leader of the ongoing Make In India campaign. Just as he had promised, with his extraordinary efforts and contributions, Avijit Ghosh did succeed in fulfilling all his goals. He was also able to ensure that the company’s growth journey is well addressed.

  3. Dealing with the Challenges • When Avijit Ghosh Heavy Engineering Corporation became associated with HEC, the company was grappling with various challenges. It was dealing with various outdated technologies which brought about several hindrances to its business. The company did not have sufficient capital to carry out its various activities. It was also dealing with operational inefficiencies. As a result, it became a challenging affair for the company to survive in the rapidly changing industrial ecosystem. It was falling back in the race. The company’s revenue generation was also decreasing to a significant level.

  4. Bringing Significant Developments to Various Industrial Sectors • While at HEC, Avijit Ghosh brought about significant developments to various sectors where HEC has its presence. Through a comprehensive modernisation roadmap, he brought about various developments to three of the major plants operating under HEC: the Heavy Machine Building Plant (HMBP), the Foundry Forge Plant (FFP), and the Heavy Machine Tools Plant (HMTP). He helped in upgrading the outdated systems which were harming the company’s productivity. He also introduced various advanced technologies which boosted the production process.
