  1. SMART  SWITCH CHORES ARE DONE HASSLE-FREE LIVE IN COMFORT.

  2. IMPORTANCE  A smart switch is di?erent from a traditional light switch in that it can control just about anything it is connected with, including hardwired appliances, fans, and of course lights. Also, unlike a traditional light switch, smart switches can be controlled remotely, through a smartphone app, or via a remote control by connecting to the home’s WiFi network.

  3. SMART VS NORMAL SWITCH Convenience. Smart switches can be controlled at any time and from anywhere, as long as there is a WiFi connection. Multi-device Integration. As part of smart home automation, most smart switches can integrate several devices for a more convenient living experience. Cost savings. Using smart switches to efficiently regulate lighting, heating, and cooling and appliance usage can result in significant savings in energy costs each month.

  4. EFFECTS LOW ELECTRICITY CONSUMED  LESS HASSEL AUTOMATIC ONE TIME SOLUTION EFFICIENT

  5. GOALS SIMPLICITY OR COMFORT: WITH SMART SWITCH, YOU CAN CONTROL LIGHTS, FANS, AND OTHER DEVICES CONNECTED THROUGH YOUR SMARTPHONE. IN ADDITION TO THE BASIC SWITCHING FUNCTIONS AND DIMMING OF VOICE AND APPS, THE SMART SWITCH CAN PERFORM SOME SMART FUNCTIONS, SUCH AS TURNING ON THE LIGHT AUTOMATICALLY WHEN YOU ENTER THE ROOM.

  6. PROTOCOLS THE SMART SWITCH USES BOTH WIRELESS AND WIRED WAY OF CONNECTING TO PEER - PEER AND TO ENSURE REDUNDANCY TO BREACH ATTEMPTS AND TO VERIFY WITH THE CODE ZIGBEE Z-WAVE VIZIA RF INSTEON

  7. MORE ABOUT X10 SWITCHES \THE ARE GENERALLY CHEAP AND QUICK TO SETUP BUT THE HAVE SOME FLAWS LIKE LOW CONNECTIVITY RATE AND POINTS OF FAILURE  ( USED IN THE PROJECT ) HAS 0-10 BIT CODE HAS SLOW BUT FAST ENOUGH DATA VERIFY RATE SOMETIMES UNSTABLE  MOSTLY RELIABLE BUT HAVE SOME HACKS

  8. PROTECTION          " A 2021 research project revealed that typical smart homes are vulnerable to a high number of data attacks. Reported instances of smart home attacks have included hackers remotely controlling smart lights and smart TVs, unlocking IoT-enabled doors, and remotely turning on and streaming video from smart cameras Smart devices communicate via their own protocols (like ZigBee) as well as through your Wi-Fi network. Unsecured Wi-Fi networks can be monitored by hackers, which means that the information your smart devices are sending your apps and other devices can be intercepted.

  9. LONG TERM USE DATA CALCULATIONS  it is crucial to recognize that smart switches will use more energy than a standard switch. In general, smart switches with Wi-Fi controls will use two watts of power while idling, while a ZigBee or Z-Wave switch will use about 0.5 watts at idle. Energy savings does tie directly into user behavior. Those are certainly useful smart devices, but a smart switch may actually be the more cost-effective, long-term solution to your needs, particularly if you have a dimmer switch or a lighting fixture with multiple decorative bulbs. According to Lutron, smart switches with a dimmer switch, sensor and timer can help save you up to 60% on lighting energy savings.
