  1. usp5 usp5 Official Full Name Official Full Name ubiquitin specific peptidase 5 (isopeptidase T) Background Background Ubiquitin (see MIM 191339)-dependent proteolysis is a complex pathway of protein metabolism implicated in such diverse;cellular functions as maintenance of chromatin structure, receptor function, and degradation of abnormal proteins. A;late step of the process involves disassembly of the polyubiquitin chains on degraded proteins into ubiquitin;monomers. USP5 disassembles branched polyubiquitin chains by a sequential exo mechanism, starting at the proximal end;of the chain (Wilkinson et al., 1995 (PubMed 7578059)). Synonyms Synonyms USP5; ubiquitin specific peptidase 5 (isopeptidase T); ubiquitin specific protease 5 (isopeptidase T); ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 5; IsoT; isopeptidase T; ubiquitin isopeptidase T; ubiquitin thioesterase 5; deubiquitinating enzyme 5; ubiquitin Recombinant Recombinant Proteins Proteins  Cell & Tissue Lysates Cell & Tissue Lysates Cat.# Cat.# Product name Product name Source (Host) Source (Host) Species Species Tag Tag Price Price USP5- 681H Recombinant Human USP5 Protein, MYC/DDK-tagged HEK293 Human MYC/DDK +Inquiry USP5- 1182H Recombinant Human USP5, His tagged Baculovirus- Insect Cells Human His +Inquiry USP5- 158H Recombinant Human USP5 protein, His- tagged E. coli Human His +Inquiry

Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by USP5 itself. We selected most functions USP5 had, and list some proteins which have the same functions with USP5. You can find most of the proteins on our site. Those interactions were detected by several methods such as yeast two hybrid, co-IP, pull-down and so on. We selected proteins and molecules interacted with USP5 here. Most of them are supplied by our site. Hope this information will be useful for your research of USP5. DAZAP2; TMEM239; TADA3; UBC; ub6l2_human; RAD23B; USP13; TNFRSF10D; PRKAB1; DVL2; RNF11
