About Birla Global Institute The Birla Global Institute was established in Bhubaneswar under the affiliation of the Utkal University, by the Birla Academy of Art and Culture, the educational wing of the B.K. Birla Group of Companies. With a majestic infrastructure spread in a vast area of 30 acres, it targets to serve the higher educational needs of students from the Eastern Zone of India. Presently the institution offers the 3 years full time graduation degree in Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) and a two year full time Post Graduate degree of Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication (MJMC).   3. BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (BBA) THREE YEARS-FULL TIME The BBA (3-years, Full time) programme at Birla Global Institute is affiliated to Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. This programme provides rigorous training in Business Management encompassing areas such as General Management, Marketing, Human Resource Management, and Finance.   6. Course Design The programme follows Semester pattern of teaching and learning. During the first year, the student will develop an overview of business, its environment and management with essential skills and tools necessary for business life. This provides the foundations to prepare the students to undertake advanced modules in the second and the third year of the degree programme. The advanced modules focus on a closer examination of the operations of business, particularly on the use and management of key resources, such as people, finance and information technology from a strategic perspective.
