This has been surprisingly a very popular drink which is made by combining milk tea or black tea with different kind of toppings. Apart from various kinds of toppings, the best part of this tea is the addition of tapioca pearls. Bubble Tea is a Taiwanese drink that is made by combining tea with fruit juices, and boba pearls. One can also add different kind of toppings, and tapioca pearls being the most common of them. There are other toppings available as well like grass jellies, popping bubbles, or even pudding drops on them. If one is looking for the best boba California, they are supposed to get all kind of toppings, and flavors in the store. One should know that the original versions of this tea were prepared with black tea, green tea or oolong tea. Later milk was added along with tapioca pearls that are cooked in sugar syrup so that get a darker colour than the tea texture. One can add extra honey or syrup to reduce the bitterness of the tea. In most cases, the bubbles are not referred as the tapioca pearls but the bubbles that are achieved by shaking the entire blend like a mixed cocktail. This gives the drink a somewhat creamy feel. Though it all started in Taiwan, the popularity first spread to the Southeast Asia, and then it went to America, and became crazily popular especially in California. The trend grew rapidly because of the rising global culture, immigration, tourism, and of course social media marketing. All of these lead to opening of bubble tea chains all over the world, especially in America, and other Eastern countries of the world. All these countries also saw the growth of café culture where bubble tea became a must in the beverage menu.
