Card Pieces Tower This is one of the great team building activity in participants that are divided into small teams. All teams are provided with scissors and a couple decks of cards. All teams have 30 minutes to stack the tallest card tower. This team building activity requires teamwork as the tower should be built evenly and it should not be tipped over. Benefits: • This exercise is useful for showing team members others' perspectives. It builds communication and negotiation skills , and helps people to develop empathy
The Blindfold Game In this activity, blindfolded participants must rely on their partners to navigate an "assault course" successfully. First of all, make pairs of the participants. One person from pair will be blindfolded and the other member will place mines in that space. Bottles, balls, paper weights or any other object can be used as mines. Now, the blindfolded person will walk through the mined space without hitting any object (mine). Benefits: • It helps to improve communication and listening skills as well as build trust between partners.
Salt and Pepper Think about some pairs of items such as “bronze and iron” and “tea and coffee”. Take some flash cards and write one item on each card. Now, stick one flash card on the forehead of every participant and don’t tell what is written on the card. Let every participant socialize with others and ask yes or no questions. After discovering what the participant is, time to find the other half.
The Coin Logo All participants to empty their pockets, purses, and wallets of any coins they may have and place them on the table in front of them. If someone doesn’t have any coins, others in the room can share their coins with them. Instruct each person to create their own personal logo using the coins in front of them in just one minute. You can also used other materials such as pens, notebooks etc. in creation of the logo. Each solitary participant can explain their logo to the group or if the room was split into groups, the leader can have each group discuss what led to the team logo and what it says about them.
