  2. Introduction Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) conducts its own online entrance exam to offer admissions to candidates in the programs that it has on offer. Candidates can secure admissions in courses provided at Manipal University on the basis of their rank/score in the Manipal Entrance Test (MET). MET 2021 is a university-level entrance exam conducted by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) annually for admitting candidates to various UG and PG degree programs at the university. As per MET 2021 selection criteria, 40% of the marks in the qualifying exam (Class 12th) and 60% marks obtained in MET are considered for admission.

MET EXAM Eligibility Criteria • BTech Courses – Pass 10+2, A-Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects and Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or any technical vocational subjects as optional subjects, with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Mathematics, and one of the optional subjects. • Lateral BTech – 3 years Diploma in Engineering granted by a State Government Board of Technical Examinations or BSc Degree from a recognized University with at least 45 per cent marks and Xll standard with Mathematics as a subject.

  4. MET Exam Syllabus MET Exam Pattern Particulars Details The official authorities will release the MET syllabus. Candidates are encouraged to review the syllabus as part of their preparation. The MET syllabus 2022 consists of the detailed subjects, topics, and units that must be studied for the entrance examination. Students must study Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English topics from the 12th standard syllabus thoroughly in preparation Candidates who are familiar with the syllabus will be able to plan out their preparation progress in conjunction with the MET exam pattern.   5. MET EXAM Admit Card • MAHE MET Admit Card was available after the slot booking of the candidates. Candidates can check the important information related to Manipal Entrance Test 2022 Admit card: • MET Hall Ticket is released after 24 hours of the slot booking. • So, Candidates can download the admit card from the official website itself. • Also, A soft copy of the admit card emailed to the registered email is of the candidates. • The candidates need to bring one hard copy of the admit card and one valid ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Pan Card, Voter ID card, Passport) on the day of the examination. • After downloading the admit card, candidates should check all the details printed on the admit card should be correct. • If any discrepancy is found by the candidates, then they can directly contact the MAHE helpdesk at +9192437777 00/11/22/33/44 (9 AM – 5 PM working days) or email at admissions@manipal.edu.

MET EXAM Result • The institute has released the results of MET 2021 in online mode on the official website soon. • The result is in the form of scorecards mentioning the marks which candidates secured in the exam. • The institute has also released a merit list based on the score that candidates obtained. Admission to the institute will be on the basis of the merit list. • To check the MET result, students have to log in using their registration ID and password.

  7. How to Check the MET Exam Result? • Firstly, visit the official website of Manipal University • Secondly, Navigate to the result link • Then, Candidates must enter their email addresses and password. • Lastly, the MET result is displayed after entering the details.

If I enter the wrong email id in the form of MET 2022, will it affect my result? Ans. No, it will have no effect on your outcome. You can view the results by going to the official website and signing in with your information. Similarly, you can print a copy of your scorecard. Q8. If my name comes on the Cut off list, does that mean I have got the admission? Ans. That is not the case. If your name appears in the cutoff, it does not guarantee admission. You will have to wait until the final list is released.
