  1. 5 ways to keep your Heart Healthy Heart disease refers to the condition affecting the heart. There are many types, only few are preventable. It is leading no.1 cause of death world wide, and it's mostly preventable by changing our lifestyle and managing the factors of risk. Everyone is at high risk. Taking these few steps can lower the risk of heart failure. Include these few habits in lifestyle and your heart health will be the best it can be. Prevention includes quitting smoking, lowering cholesterol, controlling high blood pressure, maintaining a healthy weight, and exercising daily. To help prevent these, you can; Keep your diet healthy: Taking healthy diet can help you lower the risk of heart related disorders. A heart-healthy diet include foods that are low in saturated and trans fats, added sugars, and sodium (salt). Heart-healthy items

  2. include high-fiber foods (whole grains, fruits, and vegetables) and certain fats (like, fats in olive oil and fish). Get active: Getting active helps to prevent diseases of heart . Adults need to do moderate aerobic activity each week at least 2 hours and 30 minutes. Our heart grows stronger with exercise, like any muscle in our body. Exercise boosts blood flow to the heart. This can include fast walking, dancing, and biking. When you are starting, try to walk for 10 minutes per day, a few days each week. Then add more activities over time.

  3. Keep weight healthy: People who are overweight are at an increased risk for heart diseases, high blood pressure, and the type 2 diabetes. If you are overweight, losing just 10 pounds can lower the risks. Find out how you can control weight . Manage your stress: Managing stress helps us to prevent serious health problems like heart failures, depression, and high blood pressure. Meditation and deep breathing are best ways of relaxing managing stress. Control your blood pressure and cholesterol: High blood pressure and high cholesterol are the severe causes of and heart attacks and failures. Therefore, you need to keep your blood pressure and cholesterol in control by keep checking it often.
