  2. B-SCHOOL INTERVIEW INRODUCTION In B-school admission process, interview is one of the key aspect for selecting a student. So student should prepare well before the interview process. Many of the candidates get rejected in this all important process. So it’s a very important part of the admission process. In this the process the college admission officers check the different angles of the student, by asking different questions related to their career, background, interests and their skills to find out whether you are eligible to pursue this program or not. We can say interview is a kind of information exchange process between the admission officer and the candidate interested to join the college.

  3. INTERVIEW TYPES Mainly there are three types of interview that one can except at the time of admission into a B-school interview session these are: 1. Blind Interview During the blind interview, the interviewer has no idea about the candidate, as he or she has not gone through the application. 2. Non-Blind Interview During this interview, the interviewer has already read your application, and he or she has a brief idea about you. 3. Behavioral Interview During this interview, the admission officers may or may not read your application, but they will look into your past behavior, and determine your future behavior.

Some Sample Questions Asked at the Time of Interview.  Tell us about yourself/Describe yourself/Give us your introduction.  Why do you want to join our college?  Who is your ideal person/has influenced you in life the most?  What do you want to take as specialization/Major? Why do you want to take it?  When asked, why now?  Tell us about an obstacle/hurdle/challenge that you have faced in life and how did you overcome it?  Where do you see yourself, 10 years from now onwards? Do you believe that your certificates/Grade sheets reveal your true potential and ability?
