  1. Ways to Improve Product Selling Through Product Photography A good and professional product picture can bring to you thousands of prospective customers in almost no time. Product photography is not as simple as pointing and shooting the cameras. The photo should be clear and eye-catching and should generate the necessary confidence and trust so that a customer can buy a product online. Around 51% of the total shoppers shop online now. This huge market base is available to you when you know how to bring the best details and dimensions to product photographs. Here are some tips and ways that you can use to improve the selling of products online through product photography. Use Your Smartphone Camera While earlier the smartphones had cameras of 2, 4, or 5 (MP) megapixels, the new smartphones have the 12 MP, 13 MP, 25 MP, and 48 MP cameras. These are effective and can bring enriched and greater details to the photographs. Shooting with smartphones is always more convenient for photographers and is also a cost-effective purchase, given the versatile use of the device. You can invest in a good quality 48-megapixel camera smartphone and have a 100 mm screw-on lens for it. Use the temperature settings for optimising product photography shots in lieu of different light situations. Using Tripod Will Make Your Photos Consistent When you need to shoot a few photos you can hold the camera yourself. But if your business is large and is growing, you would need the tripods that provide for stable and consistent images. Tripods that are used for shooting videos and photographs through smartphones are cheap as well. Choose Wisely In Between Natural And Artificial Light Choosing the right kind of light arrangement for your photographs is crucial. The customers should see the image clearly enough so that they can make a favourable decision. Natural light is useful when the product is used in the outside or is shot with a person (people look good in natural light). Artificial lighting (including the light bulb, light boxes, fire, and candle, etc.) are used for products where you need to highlight the physical details. The shadows that affect the photographs can be reduced by fills (use of another light source to supplement the main light), flashbulb bounce card, and other tools. Emphasise on The Product Proper background can put a better emphasis on the product. A sweep is a bendable sheet of paper on which the product is placed. The paper curves up to appear as a white wall, while the slip curve remains invisible in the photographs. The real world and dynamic backgrounds, and the portrait modes are useful for products that are being modelled by an individual, or have a specific use. Portrait mode lays emphasis on the product while blurring the context slightly. Shoot a variety of images and choose the most appropriate ones. Remember that you might require some practice to get the best results in product photography.
