  2. About us David Sechovicz. I am a horticulture and gardening hobbyist. My immense love and affection for the beauty of nature excites me. For a nature lover like me, maintaining the beauty of gardens and other natural avenues is my way to appreciate and give back to nature. Gardening, despite sounding like a simple recreation, is a lot more than that. Managing and maintaining the ever growing greenery requires a lot of chemical, biological and applied horticulture science.

  3. Home Gardening Tips by David Sechovicz Firstly, it is important to understand the sunny and shaded areas in your garden. Some plants need long hours of sunlight. You can place these plants in areas that receive high amounts of sunshine. Whereas plants that require a low amount of sunlight will die if placed in sunny areas. Also, it is advisable to know the type of soil your garden consists of. If plants like magnolias and camellias are growing in your garden, then the type of soil in your outdoor space is acidic, otherwise, it is more on the alkaline side. After analyzing these factors, you can easily plan out the type of plants suitable for your garden. It can also help to decide to place different colored plants together to give your garden a wonderful ambiance.
