  1. Seven Things to Consider Before You Make A Big Decision Making important decisions can be stressful, frustrating, and tough. Prior to making any major choice, there are numerous aspects to think about. In your twenties it is apparent especially that there are so many big decisions to be made: Deciding whether to move out of your family home, what to do after college, what you would like your career to be like, whether or not you want to get married, whether you want to have children or pets, whether or not you'd like to travel, or if you should start saving up to buy a house or start-up company. In your teens and early twenties, your most important decisions will be about what you'll have for breakfast with your partner from last night or the need for another drink of Jello. This means that it is possible that you haven't needed to make any major life choices. In reality it's possible that you're not good in making decisions. This was completely me. I was a very people-pleaser growing up. I was unable to make decisions out of the fear of offending others and letting them down or not being able to say "no" when someone asked me to. As you mature, luckily your mindset changes in your twenties so I learned the hard way how to make good decisions. Here are a few things to consider prior to making life- changing decisions. Do you know what you really want? Do corporate careers sound like your ideal job? Or do you want to start your own business? Do you want to marry and have kids or do you prefer to spend some time introspection and exploring the world? There are a myriad of paths that you can travel in your journey, so it's important to figure out what you truly want prior to making any big decisions. Get advice from a professional Asking for advice is not weakness. It's just a way to learn different perspectives about a situation. Someone may be able to explain an aspect you didn't know. Ask any person, whether they are your relatives, friends or family members or strangers. The more perspectives you have the better. Be aware of the old saying "Too many cooks spoil your broth". Don't let other people's opinions influence your decisions. Once you intend to discover new information on decision- making, you must sneak a peek at https://flipsimu.com/dice-roller/roll-d12/ site. Find out what your motivations are Are you climbing the corporate ladder because of the love you have for the work you do or because you simply love the cash? Perhaps neither, and you are actually doing it in order to impress your family. Before taking the big leap to quit a career which was not for me, I had to ask myself, "Am I doing this for myself or for others?" I realized that I was working in a field that I did not like simply since it seemed like the best option, not because it made me feel happy. This is the same for people on the brink of other important life decisions: Are you getting married because you don't want to be without your spouse or because all your acquaintances are getting married? Are you considering having a baby because are eager to become a mom or

Compare the Pros and Cons There are pros and con to every aspect of life however it is crucial to weigh the pros and cons of each of your choices. You could consider doing this with a partner, family member, or partner as they could have a totally different view than you. It is possible to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of your options by discussing them with someone else or simply listing the options on paper, on your phone, or computer to be able to view them in black and white. Even if your preferred choice has more negatives than plus points, your heart may be aching for a particular direction and it's definitely worth considering that. You may be amazed at how many emotions you've got!
