  1. Is It hard to get the PMP Certification?

  2. Is the failure rate known?  The PMP test is notoriously difficult, however, PMI does not provide detailed information on the passing or failure rate. While some sites indicate a failure rate or a passing PMP score, these are merely estimations, and the majority are often incorrect. Because the test is graded using psychometric analysis, there is unlikely to be a strict ratio of correct and incorrect answers to determine whether you pass or fail.

  3.  The PMI-approved testing facility that scores your exam will evaluate your skills, knowledge, and ability while taking into account the complexity of each question. Your scoring procedure will take into account the complexity of your questions, so if you get all of the simple questions correct but all of the harder ones wrong, you might receive a low score.  Because each PMP certification test comprises a unique set of questions, your scoring procedure will be distinct from that of any other applicant. You may pass if you answer 65 percent of the questions correctly, whereas another applicant may fail if they answer 70 percent of the questions properly.

  4. How tough is it to obtain the PMP certification?  Because of its broad curriculum, the dedication required, the kind and length of the questions presented, the duration of the test, and the response alternatives, the PMP exam is recognized as one of the most difficult Professional certification examinations. It evaluates the candidate's comprehension of Project Management skills as well as their level of patience. The following are some preliminary details:

  5. Working knowledge  For application, 35 PDUs (35 hours) are required.  As a guidebook, use PMBOK 6 (or later).  Textbook Research  Before the final exam, take some practice tests (3 to 4 exams recommended, but varies person to person, each exam of 4 hours)

  6.  Defeat the PMBOK® Guide  Make Use of a Good PMP® Prep Book  Attend PMP Exam Preparation Workshops  Attend Online PMP Exam Preparation Workshops  Make use of online PMP exam simulators.  Keep Flash Cards  Take part in Study Groups and Discussion Boards

  7. How to Prepare for the Exam?  We recommend utilizing your own computer rather than a business computer if you are taking a remotely proctored exam. You should set up your testing environment, double-check your equipment, and make sure there are no distractions for the whole 230-minute exam session.

  8.  You must present a picture identification with your signature. Check that your identification is in English or includes an English translation.  Keep your PMI code handy. You may be prompted for your confirmation code as well.  Dress for the weather, but carry a light sweater or jacket. In this manner, you'll be ready whether the temperature in the room is lower or higher than predicted.  Though water and food are not permitted at your testing station, you may store them in your center-provided locker and access them during breaks.  Some testing facilities will supply earplugs, but you are welcome to bring your own.  Most essential, get enough sleep! It is preferable to take the exam well-rested and alert.
