BFVC - Background • Organized out of the burden and vision of Bishop F. Josephus Johnson, II, to be: • a source of encouragement, • a resource of practical Christian leadership development and team building, • a haven of rest for pastors and their spouses across this nation and even across the world.
BFVC - Background • We serve to reach out to churches and leaders who are members of the Beth-El Fellowship to : • provide access to the wealth of wisdom and experience of Bishop Johnson, • provide spiritual covering, accountability, and fellowship for pastors • Central to the fellowship of churches are covenant relationships because "relationships are everything!"
BFVC – Support for Pastors • We hope to provide you with relationships and resources that will encourage, challenge, and stimulate you to being what God wants you to be. • We are more interested in: • Being than Doing • Transformation than Denomination • Transparency than Hiding • Collaboration than Isolation • We have a biblical and relational vision of the Church of Jesus, the Christ

Josephus Johnson, II. • Fellowship: For Pastors outside of a 30 mile radius of Akron, Ohio who want to be a part of the BFVC. • Association: For Pastors within a 30 mile radius who want to partner with BFVC without officially joining. • Affiliation: For Pastors and churches geographically located outside of a 30 mile radius of Akron, Ohio who are looking for some type of touch or leadership help, without joining.
