  2. Placing Graphics • Draw a frame where desired • Go to FILE – PLACE • Choose desired file • If the graphic was correctly prepared, it will flow into the frame -OR- • Go to FILE – PLACE • Choose the desired file • A loaded icon will appear. Click where you want the graphic to appear.

  3. Warning • It is always best to prepare the graphic in PhotoShop rather than make changes in InDesign • Any changes to the graphic made in InDesign could cause problems when printing • Crop, adjust, transform or fitting changes should be done in PhotoShop

  4. But the Graphic Looks ODD • InDesign uses poor viewing quality as a default to speed up time and lower file size. • To view the graphic as it would actually print: • Go to OBJECT – DISPLAY PERFORMANCE • Choose HIGH QUALITY DISPLAY • This needs to be done for EVERY graphic
