  1. LATEX VS FOIL BALLOONS – THE DIFFERENCES If you are shopping for balloons for your next celebration, do you know the difference between latex and foil balloons?

  2. Pros and Cons of Latex Balloons • This means that you will get a lot more balloons for your money, which is great if you are decorating on a budget. Also, latex balloons are more versatile than foil balloons and they can be filled with water, helium and air. One of the major perks of using latex balloons is that they are less expensive than foil balloons.  • However, one of the disadvantages of latex balloons is that they are slightly porous, which means that it is easier for the helium or the air to seep out over time.

  3. Pros and Cons of Foil Balloons • Foil balloons are advantageous because they are non-porous, so they stay filled with helium for a lot longer than latex balloons. • Also, they can have more elaborate images printed on them and they can come in different shapes and sizes. Another advantage is that they will last a lot longer than a latex balloon.  • Latex balloons can hold their helium for 12-24 hours, but a foil type of balloon will hold it for up to one or even two weeks!  • Of course, the disadvantage is that this type of balloon is much more expensive than latex - so if you are on a tight budget you may have to alter the required quantity to suit.
