Service Learning Defined Dr. William Wulf, President of the National Academy of Engineering stated: opportunities abound for engineering students to offer their expertise to organizations and agencies that lack the resources to have been paid technical staffs. Engaging in service as a student is an excellent opportunity to experience engineering in practice and to see the connection between your future and the solution to societys pressing issues.
