Is a global bacterial (spirochete) infection transmitted by a deer tick In addition to the cutaneous involvement (skin), the spirochete spreads to multiple organs (systems).The clinical manifestations are divided in three stages: Stage 1 Localized Stage 2Disseminated. Early infection with dissemination of the bacteria Stage 3 Late infection which may persist THE ONLY THING PREDICTABLE ABOUT THIS INFECTION IS ITS UNPREDICTABLILITY. 1140
