It was established in 2015 to become a leading global manufacturer and supplier of state-of-the-art wind blades, nacelles, and hubs. It aims to contribute to the global transition towards a cleaner, greener future by providing innovative, reliable, and high-quality wind turbine generators. Adani Wind’s manufacturing facility in Mundra, India, is one of the largest in the world. The facility has a current capacity of 3 GW and is expected to expand to 5 GW in the near future. About the Certification The largest wind turbine generator in India, the 5.2 MW Adani Wind, a part of Adani New Industries Limited (ANIL), announced on Wednesday that it has gained type certification from WindGuard GmbH. Adani Wind will now able to launch series production for international markets. Additionally, it recognises Adani WTG’s compliance with the widely used IEC 6140 standard. The 5.2 MW wind turbine generator developed by Adani Wind has been certified as meeting the highest quality and safety standards by the IEC System for Certification to Criteria Relating to Equipment for Use in Renewable Energy Applications (IECRE).
