4. Things to Consider • The driving times are just that – driving. If you want to sightsee, you need to include that in your timetable. • Zions Park is now closed to private vehicles. There is an I-MAX theatre that is worth the time to see. Buses take you from the visitors center to a variety of places within the park. • You can still drive from Springdale to Mt. Carmel Junction, however.

6. Choices • From Mt. Carmel Junction you can go North to Bryce and Cedar Breaks or • Go South to Kanab (heart of “old western” films) and from there to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. This is a side of the Grand Canyon few people get to visit – and not nearly as crowded as the South Rim.

10. Remember • If you drive to the North Rim – there is only one way in and out – so you need to take into account the time you will need to return to Kanab, Utah.
