Gloster Engine and Performance The MG Gloster has different engine choices. One is a 2.0-liter turbo-diesel engine that comes in two versions. The first version has one turbo and makes 161 horsepower and 375 Newton-meters of twisting power. The second version has two turbos and produces 215 horsepower and 480 Newton-meters of twisting power. Both versions use an eight-speed automatic transmission. This engine has been updated to meet the BS6 Phase 2 and RDE norms.
