  3. Light has Three Important Properties Light has Three Important properties: 1. Light travels in straight lines from a light source to your eyes. 2. If something is in the way you get a shadow. 3. Light travels very fast. 300,000,000 metres every second.

  4. Now how shadowsare formed Shadows are formed when an object is blocking light. Light can not travel through wood, metal, stone and loads of other objects.

  5. How do we see? Most people think that light comes from your eyes… Light may come directly from the source to your eyes- like when you look at a candle This line is light You couldn’t be so wrong! Remember that light comes from a light source, not our eyes!

  6. Mirrors help us see over walls Tom is pretending to do homework… but really he is watching the football. Thanks to mirrors!
