  2. Getting a new dog is emotionally overwhelming! It’s a new friend and a new responsibility wrapped in one furry, overexcited bundle. While you contemplate pet beds and trainers, it’s time to consider the usefulness of dog crates.

  3. Here are a few reasons to get your new pup a crate to call his own!

  4. Home Alone: If you intend to leave your pup for the first time, you could experience some separation anxiety coupled with an uneasy feeling. It’s difficult to ignore the ‘let me come with you’ face, once you’ve mastered that art, you should purchase a very solid dog crate. To ensure that you return to a destruction free house, usher your puppy into his dog crate and hope for the best!

  5. Safe Space: Your dog yearns to be the alpha of the household, though he can’t be the top dog since you have a claim to that title, he can be the top dog in his crate. It’s a space to call his own, somewhere he can eat, sleep and dream. Giving your dog some ownership in a house is important and a dog playpen will do just the trick.

  6. Travel the world The best part about getting a pooch is that you never have to travel alone. Whether it’s a beach or a mountain you have your pug to click a picture with. But there are those times when travelling may take a toll on the little one and make him restless. To make those times comforting for yourself and your pet, carry a collapsible pet carrier, that reminds him of his dog crate back home! It’s nice to have a little piece of home.

  7. Potty Training When your new pup leaves a fresh trail of poop in the house, you realize the importance of potty training. The best way to potty train your dog is to let him have his own dog crate of an appropriate size. It should be big enough to let him stretch and stand without difficulty. Once he gets protective about his space and respects the cleanliness of his collapsible pet carrier, he will start respecting your space too!

  8. Short term management To avoid any surprises for your guests with regard to your over excited dog, it’s recommended to put him in his dog crate till the party ends. It can be quite overwhelming to have your dog jumping about during a party with so many guests, he might get anxious and start barking violently. Till you get him trained you could let him be in his dog crate in a quiet place. Let him has his own little party!
