This method is mostly used globally because it is one of the effective and more economical than the other methods used for sewage treatment. Biological treatment of sewage is of two types which are #Aerobic Treatment It is incredibly cost-effective, which is used for the removal of the BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand). #Anaerobic Treatment The biological treatment, which is used for the wastewater treatment without the use of air or elemental oxygen, is called anaerobic treatment.
