What are the needs of preschool children

Over many years of investigation and observation, Doctor Maria Montessori established the Montessori principles. They are founded on an understanding of how children learn. The Montessori principles are as much about identifying how Montessori differs from traditional education as they are about understanding how children learn. The Montessori principles are respect for the child, absorbent mind, sensitive periods, educating the whole child, individualized learning, freedom of movement and choice, prepared environment, intrinsic motivation, independence, and auto-education. 1. What are the needs of preschool children? Pre-schooler age i.e., 3 to 5 is the age of curiousness, imagination, creativities, and doing wonders with their small hands and pure thinking. Preschoolers are curious and want to know about everything they see and hear around. They are fresh minds so the parents and teachers should encourage them and push them to learn new things. www.kidzvillelearningcenters.com

  2. Enough Sleep Preschoolers resist bedtime almost every time. They need to play, do art, watch their favorite shows, etc. all day. But parents need to take care that they take proper sleep which is important for their health. Help them to develop a daily routine that helps them to relax before bedtime. If they miss their nap they will be sleepy and tired all day. Insufficient sleep makes children unproductive. www.kidzvillelearningcenters.com
