  1. A little bit about me... My Name is Kimberly Simon, and I graduated top 15% from Davis High School. I am hoping to transfer to UH and set an example for my two younger siblings. I most importantly want to make my parents proud

  3. What am I Studying? Once I transfer, I want to major in Political Science in order to become a judge. I have always been fascinated with cases and being able to hear about them up close would be an honor. I hope to make a change in the justice system because I believe it is very important and being fair in the courthouse is something our country lacks

  4. Program of study... When I first started Highschool, my original program of study was going to be Criminal Justice, but I decided to take a different route and join cosmetology. I didn't begin to take the actual class until junior year, but I did good and completed 800 out of 1000 hours. I did not finish the course because the environment became very toxic, while the teacher instigated most of the drama instead of sticking up for the student getting bullied. I decided it was best to leave but I would mind finish the program and get licensed.

  5. My Family I love my family, I live with both of my parents and have 3 siblings. I am the second oldest but my big brother just moved out so I have taken the responsibility as the oldest sibling (in the house). I want to triple everything my parents have gave me, because they have always found a way to make it work. My mother is what you call a "luchona" (Spanish for warrior) she always finds a way to put food on the table when times are hard and still manages to make us feel loved when she is down. I want to give her everything she hopes and dreams of, once I achieve my dreams, my parents will never have to move another inch to provide for themselves. I will always protect and take care of my siblings, if they ever need anything they know they can come to me. I want to keep encouraging them to strive because nothing is impossible.
