When you’re new to a place, you might not find it easy to blend in with the other students and have a good time, at least during the initial days. 1 Don’t hesitate to say “Hello” 2 Keep a smiling face 3 Open up about yourself 4 Choose a good place to stay 5 Spend time outside the lecture halls

  3. #1 Don’t hesitate to say “Hello” When you’re new to the college campus and the people, you might feel lost. You might not be able to find any known faces among the crowd and this might make you feel uncomfortable. The best thing to do is to make the first move with your classmates and wave them a “hello”. 

  4. #2 Keep a smiling face It never hurts to keep a smiling face whenever you meet people. When you go into your lecture hall for the very first time or when you are introduced by your faculty to other members of your class, do not forget to put up a smile on your face. If you can let others know that you’re a cheerful person, and the smile will definitely help, you will be able to make a lot of amazing friends. 

  5. #3 Open up about yourself When you meet others in the college or university campus, do not shy away from talking about yourself. If you go ahead and open up about yourself, others will also do the same. In order to make new friends, it is very important to know about each other.

If you choose a shared students accommodation facility, you will have at least a couple of roommates. When you stay in students home with others from your university, it will be easier for you to make friends.
