1. Add polls Adding polls will not only give your attendees a clearer idea about your topic but will also give them a chance to interactwith each other.
Depending on the topic and answers you are trying to find, decide whether you want to conduct the poll between the presentation or at the end. • A number of webinar softwareare equipped with systems that easily tabulate the answers of the poll. • A poll does not necessarily have to have 5-10 questions. Sometimes narrow topics demand as little as 1 question. So decide accordingly.
2. Ask questions The simplest and commonest trick is to ask questions, it keeps your audience alert.
If you are conducting a poll, keep these questions to a simple yes or no. • You don’t need to prepare a list of questions, just ask a general question related to your topic after every 2-3 slides. • The answers can help you ask more questions and make you confident when you see people responding.
3. Answer questions Now that you have asked questions, your audience might have questions for you too. Don’t end your webinar without clearing your audiences’ doubt.
Most people believe you cannot host webinarswithout a Q&A segment. • While it is not mandatory, conducting one will help you in more than one way. • It will give you value added feedback, leads for your next webinar as well as the contentment that your webinar was a success.
