Design principles are followed with the goal to fulfill student and teacher needs.   16. What does this mean for me as an Educator? I can set the stage for learning to take place, but I can’t guarantee that my target learners will internalize the learning objectives as I intended. I need to set up learning situations that customers seek out, are usable, and feel are worthwhile so that they will return to reuse my materials or recommend them to others. I need to perform assessments that allow me to change my instructions if my customers do not feel the learning situations I provide are worthwhile. I need to consider design elements when creating Web based learning objects to insure the creation of quality products that will promote learning and make use of the web as it was intended, not simply presentation of information.
