There are four oceans in our world. The names of these oceans are the Arctic, Indian, Atlantic, and the Pacific Ocean. Many animals live in these oceans. These animals live in the ocean because they need salt water to survive. .

    2. What is a habitat? A habitat is an animal’s home. There are many different habitats around the world. Can you name some of the animal habitats from around the world?

    3. Oceans There are four oceans in our world. The names of these oceans are the Arctic, Indian, Atlantic, and the Pacific Ocean. Many animals live in these oceans. These animals live in the ocean because they need salt water to survive.

    6. Deserts There are deserts all around our world. The desert is very hot and has very little rainfall. Not all animals can live in the desert. Since it is so hot in the desert, many desert animals are nocturnal. That means they are awake at night and sleep during the day. They burrow under the ground to sleep where it is cool.

    8. Arctic The Arctic is a very cold, snowy, and icy place. The animals that live here like the snow and cold weather. Their bodies are used to this kind of weather. Some of the animals here have thick fur that keep them warm. The animals eat a lot of fish, eggs, or birds.

    10. Rainforest The rainforest is very warm and wet. It rains a lot in the rainforest. There are many animals that live in the rainforest. You will find fish, reptiles, amphibians, birds, and mammals.
