  2. THE FASTEST WIRED BROADBAND INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDERS IN INDIA • Here are the fastest wired broadband providers in India. Most are Fibre to the Home (FTTH) connections, but Airtel can offer 100 Mbps speeds over copper cables. The tariffs have been updated for the month of March, 2017. According to data released by Trai, only 2,80,000 subscribers in India have access to a high-speed fibre optic connection. The average internet speed in India now stands at 4.1 Mbps, according to the latest state of the Internet report by Akamai. These are the best connections available in India.

  3. JioFiber • Under its new Rs 399 plan, the company is providing its customers with truly unlimited internet with download and upload speeds capped at 30Mbps. Additionally, it comes with unlimited voice benefits, but no additional OTT platforms are bundled. Under the Rs 699 broadband plan, the company offers unlimited internet access with speeds of 100Mbps. This plan also includes unlimited voice calling benefits and no OTT platforms. • Under its Rs 999 plan, the company provides customers with unlimited internet with speeds of 150Mbps, along with unlimited voice calling and subscription to 11 OTT apps. Lastly, under the Rs 1,499 plan, customers get speeds of 300Mbps along with unlimited voice calling benefits and access to 12 OTT apps.

  4. 30-Day Trial • With the introduction of these new plans, the company is also offering new customers a free 30-day trial, with a no question refund policy. Under this trial, the company is offering unlimited internet access at 150Mbps along with a 4K set-top box with access to 10 paid OTT platforms. They will also get unlimited voice calling benefit. The customers will have to deposit the refundable security amount at first, after which they will receive the set-top box and the JioFiber modem.

  5. Airtel V-Fiber • Airtel V-Fiber data plans are slightly higher than Jio Fiber's. The basic plans start at ₹799 per month under which users get 150GB data, 100Mbps speed and unlimited local/STD calls. In terms of entertainment, this Airtel broadband plan comes with Airtel Thanks benefits including Amazon Prime 1 year membership and 3 months Netflix subscription. • The second Airtel V-Fiber plan is priced at ₹999 and it offers 300GB data at 200Mbps speed. This data plan also gives consumers access to Airtel Thanks benefits. Also, both of these Airtel V-Fiber plans are compatible with Airtel Xstream service. Airtel's V-Fiber has ₹1,000 installation chargers while new users get a Wi-Fi router for free.

  6. ACT Fibernet • ACT Fibernet, on the other hand, offers plans starting at Rs 749 per month for its basic 100Mbps plan with 500GB monthly data FUP. Post exhaustion, the speeds go down to 512Kbps. However, if you opt for any of the plans priced Rs 1,249 per month and above, post FUP your speeds will be 2Mbps. • It is notable, that ACT is offering 1000GB of extra data free of cost, which means that there is a slim chance that you will be able to completely exhaust your free data limit. The most expensive plan is priced at Rs 4,999 per month which offers speeds of up to 150Mbps, and a total of 3500GB of data (2500GB + 1000GB). • Apart from the regular plans, ACT offers two Netflix bundle plans where customers can save up to Rs 300. The Platinum Promo Entertainment and Diamond Entertainment plans offer 150Mbps priced at Rs 999 and Rs 1,249 per month respectively. The former plan offers 2000GB of total data in a month while the Diamond plan offers 2750GB of data in a month. (Delhi plans compared).
