  2. Acticert Introduction Designed to build participant confidence in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills in a team environment for professionals with a duty to respond. Teaches the important steps to perform a rapid assessment, perform Basic Life Support skills, and perform rapid defibrillation including the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Airway Management and Oxygen Therapy can also be added as additional certifications to this course.

  3. Acticert Is BLS the same as CPR certification? BLS certification covers everything that CPR classes cover — but includes additional life-saving techniques that can help those experiencing cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, or an obstructed airway.

  4. Course Requirements Attendance and participation are essential for the full session. Physical effort is required for the CPR course. Individuals who have pre-existing medical issues, such as pregnancy, bone, muscle, joint, or respiratory disorders, should see a doctor before attending. We accept no risk or liability for any accidents or illnesses that may occur as a consequence of course participation. Please see your doctor and remain safe. Along with a written multiple-choice test, participants are assessed on their proficiency in first aid and CPR during the course. There are no refunds for failed efforts.
