Role of refreshment server • Provide refreshments to the donors after their donation • Talk to donors and report to Red Cross staff if a donor shows signs of not feeling well. • Provide recognition for donors that reached a donation milestone • Promote a positive, long-lasting impression of the Red Cross • Make donors feel good about what they’ve done • Stock refreshment.

  4. Role of greeter • Meet donors at the door • Introduce the donation process • Guide the donors through the first steps of their donation • Work with Red Cross staff to ensure donors move through the process smoothly • Give information books about donation to donors prior to donation • Help donors to sign up • Take care of donors’ clothes • Call doctors if donors have any question

  5. Rules to follow • Never answer any questions donors ask, but call doctors to ask those questions • If donors collapse after donation, do not try to lift them up by yourself. Always call doctors to do so. • Do not come to blood donating area • Do not see bloodor touch blood
