  11. How it Works Say? Mean? Do? Colossians 3:1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 3:2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3:3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. I have been immersed into Christ, therefore I am like those to whom Paul wrote on this occasion. What he says to them applies to me. What can I do today to seek those things above where Christ is? Must get back to daily Bible study, and spend more time in prayer, not just at meal-times. If I start actively seeking a lost soul to convert this year, surely the commitment will help me fill my mind with heavenly things. The “raising” in this verse refers to baptism by complete immersion in water. Only those who believe in the risen Christ and are baptized into Him have a reason to seek heavenly things. Focus on spiritual matters, keep them foremost in mind as much as possible. 1 2 3
