  1. Dental Bonding Bonding is a method where a tooth-colored material is sprayed and then cured with an illuminating light that is "bonding" the material to the tooth to enhance the smile's appearance. Veneers Veneers are thin, custom-designed shells that cover the front of teeth. They are bonded onto the surface of teeth; they alter their shape, color, and length. Veneers are made of ceramic or composite. Veneers provide a more conservative method to changing the color of a tooth or body compared to crowns. However, the procedure cannot be reversed. Enamel Shaping Contoured or shaped enamel is a fast and easy procedure for shaping natural teeth to enhance their appearance. It's typically utilized to correct minor imperfections, such as unbalanced teeth or teeth that appear slightly crowded. Results are evident quickly. The process of shaping enamel is usually used with veneers, whitening, or bonding.

  2. Orthodontics (Braces) Braces can straighten crooked or aligned teeth. They can also enhance the appearance and health of any smile, either a young or adult. Braces function by applying constant pressure that gradually brings teeth in alignment. The bone socket is shaped when teeth rotate depending on the pressure used. Types of Braces While braces made of metal are still utilized, braces are as discreet as you want. Brackets -- the parts which attach to each tooth -- may be tooth-colored, precise, or multi-colored. They can also be attached to the side of the tooth to ensure that they're not visible. There are "invisible" braces that use an array of precise plastic molds that gradually shift the teeth to align. Teeth Whitening Who doesn't like a bright smile? A range of teeth-whitening products is readily available, such as toothpaste and rinses and gels, trays, strips, and whitening agents purchased from a dentist. However, whitening isn't suitable for all. It's recommended for healthy people and has not restored gums and teeth. Patients with yellow hues to their teeth rather than grey tones will respond the best. Discuss with your dentist to determine what whitening options are suitable for you. Composite Fillings Fillings that are in use may require replacement because of wear or chipping. Many people take advantage of the opportunity to replace amalgam fillings in silver with tooth-colored, natural composites. They may have reasons for this, such as aesthetics, or worry about the quality of mercury-based amalgam fillings. Composite fillings get worn out faster than silver fillings for larger cavities. However, they last equally well in smaller holes. Gum Reshaping Gum reshaping may enhance the appearance of a "gummy" smile in which teeth appear small or when it appears that the line of gum seems to be uneven. A small amount of gum and excess bone tissue, if needed, was removed and contoured to reveal more teeth. The procedure can be applied on a single tooth to create an uneven gum line or several teeth to create an unnatural, broad smile.

Dental implants are replacement tooth roots constructed of titanium (shown at the left). They give a solid foundation to attach removable or permanent dental implants (crowns). Dentures Dentures are a removable replacement for missing teeth and the tissue surrounding them. There are two kinds of dentures - partial and complete.
