  4. Diet • Hippos eat with their lip, by grabbing grass with their lips. • They chew with their big teeth. • They eat the plants on the ground. • Hippos go and search for their food.

  6. Physical Features • The hippo’s grayish color helps them camouflage in the water. • A bull hippo’s teeth can be 28 inches long. • Their mouths can open 4 feet wide.
