  3. Why I went on vacation • To relax • To read a book other than “pat the bunny” • To eat well • To exercise without seeing a stroller in front of me

  4. The benefits of vacationing with your family • Getting a home-cooked meal by someone other than myself • Sleeping in and not feeling guilty because my mom offered • Having someone baby ME

  5. Achieving my vision • Read and napped when the baby napped. Or when he was awake. • Took walks on the beach • Dessert every night. With hot fudge sauce if possible. • Delegated whenever possible.

  6. Results • Gained a few pounds • Got some rest • Wore my mother out • Made my legs sore • Got halfway through the “Diana Chronicles” (highly recommend it)

  7. Next Steps • Find a way to do it again. Soon. • How? • By either quitting my job for the summer • Using up all my vacation days
