Difference between iPhone XR COF and COG LCD Screen

The growing demand for alternative options in display assembly for iPhone XR, has allowed the Market to respond with several options. • These options have created certain confusion within the industry on what the differences are such as quality, brightness, possible issue, and more. While many of them might look alike, the structure might differ greatly which has an impact on price.

COG means chip on glass • COF means chip on flex. • COF LCD assemblies are totally different than COG LCD assemblies because they have an IC Chip that is bonded to the flex versus being adhered to the glass.
