  3. This prepares you to respond appropriately to an intense situation. Anti-anxiety medications have physical effects on the brain and the body that can help in reducing the symptoms of anxiety, such as worry, fear, and panic attacks. Exercise can help reduce stress and improve physical health.

  4. Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and nicotine. Any of these can make anxiety worse. Memory problems, inability to focus, difficulty processing information, trouble in problem-solving puzzles and feeling of confusion are symptoms of brain fog. If you are witnessing such symptoms in your behavior then rush to psychiatric immediately. A delay would worsen the situation and make you dump in your home.
