  1. WHAT ARE THE URGENT NEEDS OF CHILD NGOS TODAY?

  2. INTRODUCTION Be it an education NGO in Delhi, Mumbai or Kolkata, all these non-profit organizations have played a substantial role in providing education to the disadvantaged and underprivileged society of India. Recognizing the need of today’s era, the government needs to facilitate education to all to fulfil the dreams of a developed nation. This utmost need for the nation has encouraged NGOs to become a forerunner in inculcating the education system for all these children. But lately, the rise in demands have made it difficult for NGOs to coordinate their system with ease.

  3. THE PROBLEMS FACED BY NGOS ARE:

  4. Need For Better Infrastructure With a larger population of underprivileged students, NGOs are in need of bigger and improved classrooms, labs, playgrounds etc to help these children.

  5. FUNDING AND INVESTMENTS The NGOs have addressed their distress regarding lower funds and untimely donations from government and corporates that have staggered a steady supply of books or any other educational aid.

  6. MANPOWER DEMANDS NGOs have also relayed their concern regarding the need for more quality teachers and volunteers who are skilled enough in training the students properly.

  7. SOCIAL CONSTRAINTS As opposed to financial problems several NGOs have also faced the problems of child labour, early marriage and ban of girl education in various remote communities where they have to fight the powerful village panchayat and council for same.

  8. INNOVATIVE TEACHING METHODS Technology is the need of the hour. Without the input of technology and by using the obsolete educational systems, the NGOs conferred the need of a better educational system.
