Internal Community Giving Campaign 2011 Employees came together September 9-20 to have some fun and raise funds for those less fortunate in the Minnesota community.
Internal Community Giving Campaign 2011 • All proceeds raised through the campaign were split equally among the following Federated Funds: • Community Health Charities • Community Shares of Minnesota • Greater Twin Cities United Way • Minnesota Environmental Fund • United Arts Fund
Internal Community Giving Campaign 2011 The campaign kicked off with a pizza lunch and the first round of the ever-popular bean bag tourney. Many thanks to Paul Hawkins for the kick-off speech!
Internal Community Giving Campaign 2011 Other Mid Week Events: • Bake Sale – Best results yet, thanks to the many who donated! • Internal Silent Auction – New event (also our third-highest money raiser!) • “Right to Wear Jeans” – Consistently one of our top two events • Crossword Puzzle – Kate Spates was our winner (“expert”)
Internal Community Giving Campaign 2011 Thursday brought us sunny skies, cool temps and a CARNIVAL!
Internal Community Giving Campaign 2011 We joined forces with Avtex (our sister company on the third floor of Northland Office Center) to bring a carnival atmosphere to the Money Wars Finale. • Mark Mundahl and Tom Smith were our dunk tank participants • Elizabeth Stamplis, John McCarthy and Dan Gleason were our pie toss targets • We also held our bean bag semi-final and final rounds. Avtex was awarded the new traveling trophy. Better luck next year! • Our winners: Semi Final – Kris Smeltzer and Brent Masica (Cushman & Wakefield/NorthMarq) • Final – Vish Yem and Josh Dean (Avtex)

Internal Community Giving Campaign 2011 Our campaign ended with the Chili Cook-Off. Vicki Ribich and Robin Melcher tied for best cooks. Both were awarded a special thanks for their entries. The grand total raised for this year’s campaign: $7,457! We hope everyone had a great time. See you all again next year!!
