Was it ever damaged? • In 1925,an earthquake happened and destroyed the mission. • At $400,000,it was built again and finished in 1927.
What Indian tribe lived there? • The Chumash Indian Tribe lived at the mission.
What was life like? • The Indians tended animals like horses, cows and even more. • Indians fed and took care of them.
Did they like their home? • Yes, the Indians loved the care they got from the settlers.
What did they grow? • They grew roses • They also grew crops like wheat, corn, and peas.
Did I enjoy doing this mission report? • Yes, I did. • I thought it was amazing and beautiful.
