  3. SECC INCIDENT BRIEF TERRORIST ATTACK, 9/15/01 • EVENT DESCRIPTION • 4 commercial airliners are hijacked and 3 deliberately crashed into WTC & Pentagon • White House/Capital & AF #1 targeted • FAA/NORAD imposed nation-wide flight restrictions • DOD military at higher force protection level

  4. SECC INCIDENT BRIEF TERRORIST ATTACK, 9/15/01 • SITUATION UPDATE • no Alaskan casualties reported to SECC • no geographic changes • coastal & NWAK aviation wx IFR/MVFR today • no Alaska resources committed outside • no damage in Alaska • no physical impact to Alaska

Other agencies de-mobilized 9/12 and 9/13/01. • ALCOM, FAA, & FBI EOCs 24 hours/day • AK NG remains @ heightened readiness • Comm Exs & contingency planning • 103rd CST (WMD) on 4 hour standby (normal)
