Procedures Contact supervisor and stay with the sick member or staff Call 911 and administer first aid Disperse the crowd, if necessary Contact family member of injured person Inform all staff and members if necessary Complete an Accident Report Form Roles Secretary Aid in communication with emergency services and family members as directed by supervisor Custodian Assist with first aid Clean-up bodily fluids, if necessary Staff Stay with members, assess first aid needs, take roll Help with communications to parents Serious Injury

Procedures Obtain as many details as possible from caller, using Caller ID Checklist Call 911 and activate Emergency Plan as instructed by supervisor Evacuate occupants and move to area 500 feet or more from building While evacuating, look for suspicious items or noises, and report to supervisor Assist Emergency Response Team Roles Secretary Notify supervisor and call 911 Bomb Threat Checklist Custodian Shut off gas and electricity Check toilets, lockers, storage and other non-program space for members and staff Report to supervisor when building is clear Shut-off gas and electricity Staff Evacuate building Look for suspicious items or noises while exiting Call roll in designated area. Procedures Sound alarm, report fire to the office and use intercom if available Call 9-1-1 Close all windows and doors to confine fire Evacuate occupants and move to area 500 feet or more from building Move to designated shelter in case of inclement weather Administer first aid, if necessary Roles Secretary Notify supervisor and call 911 Take Member Emergency Information Forms Custodian Shut off gas and electricity Check toilets, lockers, storage and other non-program space for members or staff Report to supervisor when building is clear Staff Evacuate building Call roll in designated area Fire

Procedures Remain calm Call 911 Activate Emergency Plan Invoke intruder alarm (may be word of mouth) Secure immediate area to confine the problem Secure building by locking appropriate doors Await assistance Roles Secretary Call 911 and notify supervisor Custodian Help secure building Staff Stay in designated areas, protect members, take roll, follow supervisor instructions Lock the door from the inside Intruder

Procedures During severe weather watch monitor the situation on the radio Members should not be permitted to go on field trips during a watch or warning During a severe weather warning occupants should proceed to a designated location and assume a kneeling position against a wall, head down, hands covering head Occupants of modular buildings should be moved to a designated area Roles Secretary Stay by phone and monitor weather radio Custodian Serve as weather spotter Assure all exits are closed Staff Move members to designated area, take roll, follow supervisor instructions Severe Weather
