  1. Messianic Study in the Book of Acts Our History – Our Future! by Mike Fronczak

  2. 6000 Years of History “For in so many days as this world was made, in so many thousand years shall it be concluded... and God brought to a conclusion upon the sixth day the works He made ... This is an account of the things formerly created, as also it is a prophecy of what is to come ... in six days created things were completed: it is evident, therefore that they will come to an end after six thousand years.” The Writings of Irenaeus, volume 1, p.577.

  3. 6000 Years of History “And I appointed the eighth day also, that the eighth day should be the first-created after my work, and that the first seven revolve in the form of the seventh thousand, and that at the beginning of the eighth thousand there should be a time of not-counting – endless” Rutherford H. Platt, Jr. Ed. The Forgotten Books of Eden, “The Secrets of Enoch,” (Alpha house, Inc. 1927, World Bible Publishers, Inc.) p.92.

  4. 6000 Years of History “And God made in six days the works of his hands; and he finished them on the seventh day, and he rested the seventh day, and sanctified it. Consider, my children what that signifies, he finished them is six days. The meaning of it is this; that is six thousand years the Lord God will bring all things to an end.The Epistle of Barnabas

  5. 6000 Years of History Talmud: “Just as the seventh offers a release to the Jew, so the world will be released during the seventh millennium.” Talmud (Sanhedrin 97d). Rashi:“In the first 2,000 there was desolation, for the next 2,000 years the Torah or Law flourished, and the next 2,000 was to be the messianic era. But through our many iniquities, all these years have been lost”

  6. Historical Background • 1st 2,000 years of History all Gentile • 2nd 2,000 years Gentile and Jew • 3rd 2,000 years, Gentile, Jew, and • Christian • Mans history on earth to be 6000 years!

  7. Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

  8. Acts 8:1 And Saul approved of his execution. And there arose on that day a great persecution against the church in Jerusalem, and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.

  9. Acts 8:4-6 4 Now those who were scattered went about preaching the word. 5 Philip went down to the city of Samaria and proclaimed to them the Christ. 6 And the crowds with one accord paid attention to what was being said by Philip when they heard him and saw the signs that he did.

  10. Acts 8:7-8 7 For unclean spirits, crying out with a loud voice, came out of many who had them, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed. 8 So there was much joy in that city.

  11. Acts 8:12-13 12 But when they believed Philip as he preached good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. 13 Even Simon himself believed, and after being baptized he continued with Philip. And seeing signs and great miracles performed, he was amazed.

  13. John Wesley On May 24th 1738 He heard a sermon on Mark 12:28-34 “Thou art not far from the Kingdom of God” John Wesley realized that he himself was almost saved.

  14. Acts 8:14-15 14 Now when the apostles at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent to them Peter and John, 15 who came down and prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit,

  15. Acts 8:16-17 16 for he had not yet fallen on any of them, but they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 17 Then they laid their hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit.

  16. Acts 8:29-30 29 And the Spirit said to Philip, “Go over and join this chariot.” 30 So Philip ran to him and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet and asked, “Do you understand what you are reading?”

  17. John 12:38-40 38That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? (Isa 53:1) 39Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, 40He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. (Isa 6:9-10)

  18. 1 Chronicles 28:18 And for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the pattern of the chariot of the cherubims, that spread out their wings, and covered the ark of the covenant of the LORD.

  19. 1 Chronicles 28:18 And for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the pattern of the chariot of the cherubims, that spread out their wings, and covered the ark of the covenant of the LORD.

  20. 1 Chronicles 28:18 chariot of the cherubims

  21. 1 Chronicles 28:18 chariot of the cherubims Chariot of the Cherubims?

  22. Acts 8:31 And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.

  23. Acts 8:37 And Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he replied, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”

  24. Acts 7:58 Introduction of Saul And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul.

  25. Acts 8:3 But Saul was ravaging the church, and entering house after house, he dragged off men and women and committed them to prison.

  26. Acts 9:1 But Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest

  27. Acts 9:2 and asked him for letters to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any belonging to the Way, men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

  28. Acts 9:3 Now as he went on his way, he approached Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.

  29. Acts 9:13-14 13 But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he has done to your saints at Jerusalem. 14 And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name.”

  30. Acts 9:15-16 15 But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel. 16 For I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name.”

  31. Three Conversions 1. Conversion of Saul of Tarsus (Line of Noah’s son Shem) 2. Conversion of Ethiopian eunuch (Line of Noah’s son Ham) 3. Conversion of Cornelius, the Roman centurion (Line of Noah’s son Japheth)

  32. Acts 15:1-2 1And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved. 2When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas,.. … should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.

  33. Acts 15:19-21 19 Therefore my judgment is that we should not trouble those of the Gentiles who turn to God, 20 but should write to them to abstain from the things polluted by idols, and from sexual immorality, and from what has been strangled, and from blood. 21 For from ancient generations Moses has had in every city those who proclaim him, for he is read every Sabbath in the synagogues.”

  34. Acts 15:29 28 For it has seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay on you no greater burden than these requirements: 29 that you abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what has been strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. Farewell.”

  35. Acts 15:29 Acts 15:20 Acts 15:29 1. from things 1. from things sacrificed contaminated by to idols idols 2. from fornication 2. from blood 3. from what is 3. from things strangled strangled 4. from blood 4. from fornication

  38. Acts 10:5-6 5 And now send men to Joppa and bring one Simon who is called Peter. 6 He is lodging with one Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the sea.”

  39. Simon the Tanner God knows the addresses of His people.

  40. Acts 10:11-12 11 and saw the heavens opened and something like a great sheet descending, being let down by its four corners upon the earth. 12 In it were all kinds of animals and reptiles and birds of the air.

  41. Acts 10:13-14 13 And there came a voice to him: “Rise, Peter; kill and eat.” 14 But Peter said, “By no means, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean.”

  42. Acts 10:15-16 15 And the voice came to him again a second time, “What God Has made clean, do not call common.” 16 This happened three times, and the thing was taken up at once to heaven.

  43. Acts 10:28-29 28 And he said to them, “You yourselves know how unlawful it is for a Jew to associate with or to visit anyone of another nation, but God has shown me that I should not call any person common or unclean. 29 So when I was sent for, I came without objection. I ask then why you sent for me.”

  44. Acts 10:34-35 34 So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows No partiality, 35 but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.

  45. Acts 1:8 We are Israel; grafted in and adopted. We should take the gospel message throughout Jerusalem, (entire Messianic movement) then throughout all Judah (saved people in the Christian church) then to Samarea (the Christian Church who believed they are saved and not really saved), and then to the uttermost parts of the world.

  46. God wants one group, not a divided group God wants community, not just congregation I believe that the largest mission field is in our churches These chapters should be read candidly, and its teachings accepted: what they are is so clear that there is little need of explanation. Take heed how ye read. Spurgeon
